Experience

Collections
I have represented creditors in collection matters for 30 years. I have taught several collection courses for the State Bar and other education groups.

Intellectual Property
I have helped large and small companies protect their intellectual property rights through contracts and helped obtain trademark, service mark and copyright registrations. I have also worked with clients to resolve disputes over intellectual property rights.

Construction Law
I have been involved with many aspects of the construction industry from helping develop prime contracts and subcontracts for small and large construction companies to helping resolve construction disputes through negotiation, mediation and litigation.

Business Litigation
The goal when working with clients is to avoid litigation by developing good contracts and practices. But sometimes litigation is unavoidable. I have been involved with a wide variety of business litigation, including but not limited to, contact and lease disputes, distributorship agreement disputes, computer installation problems, real estate disputes and purchase agreement disputes.

Before embarking on my legal career, I dedicated my time to teaching physics and math at both the college and high school levels. Education has always been close to my heart, and I remain committed to its importance.
