Michael J. Coakley

Attorney

Overview

As an attorney in Turke & Strauss’s estate planning practice, my aim is to help clients take pride in the legacies they will leave behind by crafting estate plans that are understandable, holistic, and efficient. All families come with their own dynamics and respectfully navigating those dynamics are what great estate plans do, in my opinion. Having grown up in Wisconsin, I am proud to be helping fellow Wisconsinites by giving them the tools to navigate those dynamics in the manner they see fit.

Experience

Prior to joining Turke & Strauss, I worked at a boutique law firm in Waukesha County that specialized in Elder Law where estate planning and probate were the primary focuses. I was initially doing much of the probate work before I began assisting the managing partner with crafting estate plans. After having gone through probate, as an attorney, the experiences I could draw on became invaluable when advising clients on their estate plans.
