Overview
I am a practical attorney with experience litigating disputes involving employment law, consumer privacy, telecommunications, product defects, product labeling, and consumer debt collection. I have helped prosecute many high stakes cases involving millions of dollars in controversy and bring that knowledge to bear when advising clients on risk management and litigation avoidance. I help clients consider the legal options in order to make the best decisions for their business. Although good lawyering frequently involves sophisticated legal analysis, I make sure my clients always understand the relevant legal theory and litigation strategies. My clients appreciate my savvy lawyering and my ability to break down complex problems and explain them in plain language. I am licensed to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Washington.

Experience
Prior to forming Turke & Strauss, I was a litigator at the Terrell Marshall Law Group, where my practice focused on nationwide class action litigation. I regularly represented classes of consumers and employees in litigation against multinational corporations. I have helped certify and settle class actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), and various state consumer protection laws. In addition, I represented parties in individual employment and business to business disputes.
