Recently, it was reported by online sources that NorthBay Health had experienced a cybersecurity incident impacting the functionality of its systems. On April 2, 2024, NorthBay Health said in a statement to CBS13: “Upon detecting this incident, we launched an investigation and engaged leading external cybersecurity experts to support our response. We are working diligently to restore systems as quickly and safely as possible.”1 As of April 4, 2024, NorthBay Health has not disclosed the specific nature of the cybersecurity incident and whether the incident resulted in a data breach.
