Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating M&D Capital Premier Billing LLC (“M&D Capital”) regarding its recent data breach. WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, M&D Capital discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, M&D Capital determined that an unauthorized party may have had access to this sensitive information from on or around June 20, 2023, to July 8, 2023. On March 18, 2024, M&D Capital began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Financial information
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Medical information (e.g., diagnoses, medication, treatments) 
  • Medical billing and insurance information
