Divvies is a baked goods manufacturer and distributor based in Connecticut. Founded in 2004, Divvies specializes in baked goods for those with dietary restrictions to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, or dairy, and those who simply embrace the plant based or vegan lifestyle.3 Today, all Divvies baked goods are made under the watchful eye of the Divvies staff who understand the vital importance of the proper handling of the ingredients and who follow strict procedures to maintain the integrity of the facility and the products.3 Headquartered in Trumbull, Connecticut, Divvies employs over 10 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In August 2023, Divvies discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Divvies determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive personal information on August 9, 2023. As a result, Divvies began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
