WHAT HAPPENED?
On May 13, 2023, Venture Logistics discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Venture Logistics determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and acquired this sensitive information on May 13, 2023. On August 18, 2023, Venture Logistics began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Financial account number
- Health insurance information
- Credit and debit card information
- Medical information
