Founded in 1986, Florida Water Products began when Henry Caballero took his pool supply retail company, Supreme Pool Supply, and opened a distribution warehouse to become the premier pool and spa distributor in south-central Florida. Today, Florida Water Products has 9 locations across southern Florida.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Florida Water Products discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Florida Water Products determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information and acquired certain files from a legacy data repository. On August 17, 2023, Florida Water Products began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial Account numbers
  • Health insurance information
  • Medical information
