Entertainment Partners Data Breach Investigation

Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating EP Global Production Solutions, LLC, which does business as Entertainment Partners, regarding its recent data breach. The Entertainment Partners data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 471,000 individuals.

With offices in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, Entertainment Partners has more than 1,000,000 end users worldwide. Since its founding, Entertainment Partners has supported tens of thousands of productions ranging from blockbuster movies to indie films.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On June 30, 2023, Entertainment Partners discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Entertainment Partners determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and obtained this sensitive personal information. On August 2, 2023, Entertainment Partners began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address
  • Tax identification number
