WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Care N’ Care Insurance Company discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Care N’ Care Insurance Company determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information. On July 25, 2023, Care N’ Care Insurance reported the breach to the Attorney General of Texas and indicated that it began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted by U.S. mail.
