WHAT HAPPENED?

On April 5, 2023, Henrietta Johnson Medical Center discovered that Delaware Health Net Inc. (“DHN”), a healthcare-controlled network provider and electronic health records management provider that providers services to Henrietta Johnson Medical Center, had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in Henrietta Johnson Medical Center systems may have been accessed. While the investigation is ongoing, Henrietta Johnson Medical Center determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information beginning on April 5, 2023. Recently, Henrietta Johnson Medical Center began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Ethnicity
  • Health insurance information
  • Medical information (e.g., medical record number, diagnosis code, lab information, appointment scheduling information)
