Rock-It Global Data Breach Investigation

Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Rock-It Cargo USA LLC, which does business as Rock-It Global, regarding its recent data breach. The Rock-It Global data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

Rock-It Global is the leading provider of live event freight forwarding and logistics services, delivering shipments safely and on time in various locations. As a transportation, logistics, and supply chain organization, Rock-It Global specializes in domestic and international air freight, air charters, ocean containers, ocean charters, rail traffic, complicated freight moves, customs brokerage, and time-critical specialty freight forwarding. Founded in 1978, Rock-It Global’s roots began in the heart of Rock n’ Roll, moving bands such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, and Bruce Springsteen. Headquartered in Lititz, Pennsylvania, Rock-It Global has built a global network of specialists across many different industries throughout the past forty years.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 7, 2023, Rock-It Global discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Rock-It Global determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on or around February 13, 2023. On June 23, 2023, Rock-It Global began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
