StaffScapes Data Breach Investigation

Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating StaffScapes, Inc. regarding its recent data breach. The StaffScapes data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 4,500 individuals.

ABOUT STAFFSCAPES:

StaffScapes is a human resource outsourcing company that provides its services to small and medium businesses. As a human resource company, StaffScapes offers a variety of services including payroll, workers’ compensation, and employee relations. Additionally, StaffScapes offers benefits packages including 401(k) retirement planning as well as dental and vision insurance. Headquartered in Westminster, Colorado, StaffScapes serves small and medium-sized companies across the state of Colorado.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 3, 2023, StaffScapes discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, StaffScapes determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on February 15, 2023. On April 25, 2023, StaffScapes began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
