WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 29, 2022, Sunland Asphalt & Construction discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Sunland Asphalt & Construction determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between August 27 and August 29, 2022. On March 20, 2023, Sunland Asphalt & Construction began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account information
  • Passport number
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Username and password
  • Electronic signature
