WHAT HAPPENED?

On January 24, 2023, Christensen Group Insurance discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Christensen Group Insurance determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between October 10 and October 17, 2022. On February 24, 2023, Christensen Group Insurance began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account number
  • Credit and Debit numbers
  • Routing number
