WHAT HAPPENED?

On July 7, 2022, Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between June 16 and July 7, 2022. On February 1, 2023, Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Financial account numbers
