WHAT HAPPENED?

On June 26, 2022, Wabtec Corporation discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Wabtec Corporation determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information as early as March 15, 2022, and certain sensitive data was obtained on June 26, 2022. On December 30, 2022, Wabtec Corporation began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Medical record
  • Health insurance information
  • Photograph
  • Financial account information
  • Biometric information
  • Other employment and demographic information
