Core Conditioning Data Breach Investigation

Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Restorative Arts Physical Therapy, Inc., which does business as Core Conditioning, regarding its recent data breach. The Core Conditioning data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information belonging to an unknown number of individuals.


Core Conditioning is a physical therapy center that specializes in rehabilitation, fitness, and overall wellness. Founded in 2003, Core Conditioning differs itself from traditional physical therapy by integrating cutting edge medical science, whole body fitness, and patient wellness. Additionally, Core Conditioning offers expertise and rehabilitation in the fields of sports medicine, orthopedics, women’s health, pediatrics, neurological rehabilitation, and more. Headquartered in Studio City, California, Core Conditioning operates an additional facility in Burbank, California.


On August 29, 2022, Core Conditioning discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Core Conditioning determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and obtained this sensitive information. On October 28, 2022, Core Conditioning began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Contact information (e.g., address, email address)
  • Health insurance information
  • Medical information
  • Demographic information
