Jonathan Sopha

As an attorney with Turke & Strauss, I help clients with all aspects of commercial real estate and business matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, governmental approvals and compliance, financing, leasing, construction, investment, and other general corporate matters.

My experience includes purchase and sale negotiations, leasing transactions, governmental permitting and approvals, condominiums and community associations, real estate investment arrangements, financing, title issues, construction and design services agreements, franchises, general contracting, business formation and general business transactions. I have worked with a wide variety of businesses, clients, municipalities and markets. This background helps me provide efficient and effective legal solutions for clients.

My collaborative approach to legal representation is responsive, client-focused and emphasizes practical outcomes. I believe that an optimal attorney-client relationship is based on trust and results, and I strive to guide clients to make successful business decisions.

Prior to joining Turke & Strauss, I worked in private practice and in-house with commercial real estate firms.

Outside Interests

I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities (biking, hiking, hunting, fishing), and coaching youth sports. I am a long-time homebrewer and love to talk about beer. But my real claim to fame is being a Bucky Badger mascot, including a trip to the 1994 Rose Bowl!
