Conduent Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Conduent HR Services, LLC, which does business as Conduent, regarding its recent data breach. The Conduent data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

Conduent is a technology-led business process outsourcing solutions (BPO) organization which provides services for businesses and governments. Accordingly, Conduent drives process efficiency and results for 85% of top U.S. health plans, 80% of top global automakers, 60% of top U.S. banks, and 90% of top pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, Conduent offers support tools for employee benefits to a variety of customers, including Raytheon Company, a defense contractor and industrial conglomerate. Founded in 2017, Conduent employs over 60,000 associates. Headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey, Conduent serves clients throughout 47 states and over 600 government entities.  

WHAT HAPPENED?

On May 19, 2023, Conduent discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Conduent determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and obtained this sensitive information, including information belonging to Raytheon customers, on or around May 19, 2023. Recently, Conduent, on behalf of Raytheon, began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes: 

  • Name 
  • Social Security number 
  • Address 
  • Date of birth
